Just a note to express how much I appreciate the service that Wayne Kamper gave me recently. During the last cold snap my system froze the day I was leaving for a business trip to Germany. Wayne came to my home prior to my leaving, drained the pipes and told me he would take care of everything while I was away and also keep me informed.
He did just as he said he would do and called me in Germany to keep me informed and let me know the problem had been repaired. It is super when you can rely on people doing what they say they will do and "trust" their work.
I want Wayne to be my pool person for a long time.

I wanted to take the time to tell you what a difference my pool service experience was today. In December, we had Leslie's out to change our hot tub light. (They were cheaper than your estimate.) When I made the appointment with their service dept. the lady told me I had to heat my pool to a certain degree as their technicians weren't asked to work in cold water. So I heated my pool like she said (I did it for at least 8 hours trying to warm my pool in December.) (Yes, I'm blond.) When
their technician got here he told me it wasn't necessary to heat the pool as he just drains the hot tub to change the bulb. After adding my gas bill to their cheaper estimate...you can guess the rest. Their technician came to my home without a spa light bulb in his van. I felt like I was surrounded by idiots.
One month later, my spa light is out again. Talking to you on the phone was like night and day when talking to the Leslie's service dept. Of the 3 issues I wanted you to fix in my pool...Leslie's couldn't do one of them. (They couldn't replace the piece at the base of my hot tub fountain.) You quickly understood what it was I needed when describing my 3 pool issues. You sent Johnny Lee to my home to service my pool. I just wanted to let you know how much more knowledgeable, friendly and
professional he was then the technician Leslie's sent out. He pointed out that there was water in my light fixture and that the seal should have been replaced when the bulb was replaced in December.
I really appreciate the both of you today and the next time my husband tries to save a buck by making me call Leslie's---I hope I have enough patience to explain the difference between your two companies once again. I'm greatly appreciative of your company's view on the importance of customer service and providing individuals who can follow through.

Dear Mr. Carlson:
Today I walked out into my backyard and saw the most awesome sight! There before my eyes was a crystal clear pool. A pool that had been empty for quite some time was transformed into the pool I remembered when I first moved into my home almost 15 years ago.
Over the years my children had moved away and work or travel had been taking up most of my time. I stopped taking the time to enjoy my pool and even drained it to avoid the maintenance and repair that I knew it needed. Every time I would enter my backyard, my heart would sink at the sad appearance of my pool, but I was overwhelmed with the prospect of such a large project. Finally, I knew it was time.
Where to begin? I pulled out the yellow pages hoping a knight in shining armor would leap out from within. I saw Dolphin Pool Supply and Service and remembered that my father used to drive me to your store on Saturdays to pick up chemicals and pool supplies when I was younger. Well, if it was good enough for my Dad in the 1970’s it was good enough for me in 2009!
I received two bids during my pool repair adventure. One from Dolphin Pool and one from another firm that handles plaster and tile repair. I soon realized that I not only had to plaster my pool to achieve the look I wanted, but I was going to need a new filter system and some electrical work as well. I knew, because of my travel schedule I was going to need help with the week-long sweeping of the pool surface after the new coat of plaster as well as the chemical balance and cleaning. Also, because of my schedule, I would not be able to properly coordinate the plaster with the mechanical repairs myself. I decided to go with Dolphin Pool because all aspects of the project could be coordinated and completed, eliminating any confusion and relieving me of the responsibility and worry.
I found your staff to be professional, friendly and efficient. Every step of the project was completed when scheduled and I was in contact with a member of your team almost daily for status and updates. When it was time set up a maintenance program, I met with Lisa, who explained the weekly cleaning schedule and tips for maintaining my pool. Even when I ran into some surprises, such as a light that was not operating properly or the water level that seemed to drop a little faster than normal, one of your team members would be quick to respond and repair.
What can I say! Thank you for transforming my sad pool into the centerpiece of my backyard as it once was. As it turned out, a knight in shining armor did leap out from those pages!

I just wanted to inform the people in charge that I had service call this morning. Paul was my tech, and Rhonda was the service coordinator. What a pleasure it is to conduct business with your staff.. Starting with you retail store staff (of which I have been doing business back in the 8o's) and now with your service people.. There are a lot of stores out there that don' t provide the quality of service that Dolphin's do, and I tease Roger Sommers, I'm that Carrollton lady that drives past all of those (Leslie's) to come to Dolphin's. He is another fine staff member.
I wanted to acknowledge your business, because we all seem to complain about bad business, but why not stop and acknowledge good business when you get that experience. Thank you for the fine service.

Your service today was excellent: my wife called your store in the morning and explained some of the problems we've been having with our pool. Your salesperson on the phone was extremely helpful. She explained our options. We decided to go with your maintenance program. You had a serviceman out that same afternoon! His name was Paul. He was extremely professional, pleasant and thorough. He took the time to answer all of our questions. My wife and I are very impressed with your service.

Per our conversation today February 21, 2008 at 9:12am I am emailing you an official request to discontinue service to the pool at 905 Timber Valley in Flower Mound. The pool was last serviced on Monday February 18, 2008 and that will be the last charge to that property.

Dear Rhonda,
I would like to commend your company on one of your service technicians that was at our home today. I have been using your company for 5 yrs now, based on the previous home owners using your company. I have to say, I wasn't sure if I should keep using your company or not and had considered this year to explore other companies. The service tech who came out today, Wayne, changed my mind. He is the first person from your company who has stood out in customer service. He is professional, thorough and courteous. He is the first person who seems to care about making sure everything is ok and willing to take the time to be thorough and not pass the buck.
I orginally called to set up a service visit to have someone come and change the lite in the pool, which im sure should only take a couple of minutes. Our pool is very old and the lite has not been turned on to my knowledge in 20 yrs because the previous owners had disconnected all the electrical on the outside of the house. Wayne took the time to address all my safety concerns,explain what he did to change the lite, what I needed to look for if there should be a leak.
Additionally, he listened to my story about an emergency call to you a couple of weeks ago. Water had been spraying like a fire hose and the water in pool was rapidly depleting. After my story, He proceeded to quickly check the new PB4 that had just been replaced and found that it was still leaking and repaired it. As a result of him taking the time to do a quick look, I feel like he provided us with outstanding customer service and he gave me the confidence that our equipment seemed to be in good working condition before he left. Wayne obviously enjoys his job and it shows by him providing outstanding customer service by listening to the customer, going the extra mile to take a quick look at what had been done previously, to ensure all was in good working condition. I like the fact that he took the time to asess the whole situation and took action to fix it instead of passing it on to someone else. That is the kind of service I would hope to be getting every time someone from Dolphin comes to our home.
In conclusion, Please pass on these accolades to Wayne so he knows people really appreciate when someone provides excellent service. I would also like to see if there is a way to put a note on our account for Wayne to be our service technician if he is available for future calls.

Hello. My name is Bob Kenyon and I would like to express my appreciation for the service work that Paul from your company has provided.
I recently purchased all new pool equipment (pump, polaris pump, heater, filter and two Jandi valves) from Mike at your Highland Village store. I decided to do the work myself and installed the equipment between Christmas and New Years.
I did encounter a couple of problems and needed an expert professional. First, I could not get the heater to fire up. So, I called you folks and you sent Paul out to provide service. Within a very short time he was able to isolate and resolve the problem.
This past week, I for the first time backwashed the filter. Afterwards, there were slight leaks at the two connection to the multi port valve. I was getting tired of working on the issues myself and again called and asked that Paul be sent out. He fixed the problems expeditiously.
I am writing you this e-mail, because too often we let good work go without praise, but we are always ready to let people know when work is done shabbily.
Well, in this case Paul needs to be recognized. He is a very conscientious, knowledgeable and personable individual. He most certainly is a valuable asset for Dolphin Pool Supply and Service.
